Organizing: In terms of management, organizing refers to identify and group the activities to be performed and establish relationships for the common objective of achieving objectives with the support and enhanced efficiency of workers. (Chandra, 2013) Time: Time is limited and more needs to be accomplished with less efforts. Time management strategy can be applied using the reminder mails to employees or customers for pending actions, by posters of creativity that can be placed on office walls such as Dont print until necessary and so on. It will result cost-reduction.(Matthews, 2015) People: People are the superior resources in any organization. Placing right skill on right place will not only get job done on time but also in the most productive manner. People should be trained with necessary pedagogy so they are equipped with confidence and clarity for the jobs assigned. Work environment: In an organization, work environment is not about physical surroundings. It is about culture and values in which employees work. The communication should be open and transparent and thoughts are valued. Work environment have both positive and negative impact on employees morale, performance and confidence about job. (Chandrasekar, 2011) Work Equipment: With the business today going global, it is necessary to stay updated in terms of technology and equipment. In manufacturing units, machines need timely repair and replacement and should not be neglected. It also ensures safety of the workers. Computers, printers and other devices should meet the criteria as required in jobs to be assigned. Library: Libraries are portals to all of the worlds knowledge and play important role to improve the working mechanism of the organization. Some employees are fond of reading and library is an add-on loyalty to them. It make them feel valued. Library can also be in the form of online portal where employees can have access using login credentials to enhance his/her knowledge. Leading (Self-leadership) Motivation is about keeping your thoughts inspired to your goals and avoiding distractions. Self-motivation is a change agent that make our efforts meaningful. Goal setting and achieving goal is a process and this has to go step and step. (Frankfurt, 2013) Also tasks to be taken should not be below the ability of the person else it may demotivate him. Goals when difficult, should be divided into small tasks and this reduce the pressure and increases the chances of the success. Besides keeping the workflow temperament on goals, one should measure the progress to keep check on gaps and ensure right track. Procrastination simply means delaying task for later time. Self-leadership creates the flow of happiness and peak performance and takes charge to get the job completed as per timeline. Big projects involving huge funds and time period should be planned in advance and led by someone who have expertise for the same. Self-leadership works as the booster to control procrastination issues and distractions. Controlling: Controlling is the check to ensure whether everything is going as per planned process or if there is need of attention to any point. With feedforward control, disruptions can be measured and accounted before such disruptions could affect the system. Feedforward control is crucial step in the success of the planning function because when things planned are not controlled, there are low chances of success of the project. To demonstrate feedback control, I am choosing my goal- Planninga revision schedule. Some of the issues that may arise in pursuit my goal: Extra-classes to cover few more topics by professor may affect my revision timeline. (T-factor of my smart goal) There may arise a need to help any colleague in teaching topics already covered. (R-factor of my smart goal) Feedforward control can be implemented by: Spare time will be kept and improvised timely to control time factor. Helping a colleague will itself be a revision and that saves additional time and relevance of goal is related.
